Zidan Ajani

My name is Zidan Ajani, and I am freshman at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA. I began playing golf and other sports at the young age of three and have always been a very competitive athlete. I have participated in golf tournaments from age six. My parents always advised me to never sacrifice academics for sport or extracurricular activities; rather, sports were a reward for earning good grades in school. Whether it be playing cello in my school orchestra, participating in the state debate tournament, volunteering at my Ismaili center, or becoming an athlete, I was taught to strive for excellence in whatever I participated in.

Over the past few years, I have taken my golf journey very seriously and aspire to be a golf player. I have been a part of the Lovett School’s Varsity Golf Team and helped lead the team achieve it’s first three-peat (‘21, ‘22, ‘23) in program history. I was voted 2023 GHSA 4A Player of the Year and was named to the All-State teams in 2022 and 2023. I have participated in several junior golf tours (AJGA, SGJT, GSGA) and been able to qualify for several national junior/amateur golf events.

My best golf is yet to come, and I work hard every day to achieve my goals and objectives. I would welcome the opportunity to share my golf videos and speak to coaches.
